If you have money problems due to Tinnitus please don't panic.
There is plenty you can do that costs very little that can help you settle your tinnitus. Julian makes some suggestions here and you can add a lot more to get you on track to soothing and settling yourself down cheaply, so that your nervous system comes out of fight or flight and your tinnitus backs off.
When you are suffering with Disabling Tinnitus or debilitating Tinnitus you might have so many problems that you might not be able to work. Insomnia, low moods, isolation, and other medical problems can cause a person's life to almost fall apart. Money problems ,relationship problems may occur. And so a Tinnitus sufferer may not be in a position to be able to afford expensive therapies even if these might help him or her with their Tinnitus condition's. In America alone there are said to be a staggering fifty million Americans suffering with some form of Tinnitus problem.Two million of those are suffering with debilitating Tinnitus where it affects their ability to function properly in daily life. Tinnitus sufferers may get some benefit from this video where I explain how my disabling Tinnitus has got much worse. I do not want to be some Tinnitus doom and gloom merchant. Rather I want to find a cure or a way to get rid of my terrible Tinnitus which has ruined my life. I have found it quite difficult to cope and have found it difficult to function in daily life. However I still am confident that I will be able to conquer this terrible Tinnitus affliction.
I have been a health professional for over thirty years and I never knew that disabling Tinnitus existed. But over the last two years I found out that it did. I have tried all sorts of things to try and get rid of my Tinnitus please check out some of my other video's. But as yet I have not found the magic cure for Tinnitus.
And have now had to go against my better judgement on taking prescription medications. I have chosen with the help of my GP to take Pregabalin. Pregabalin for Anxiety which I was hoping would help my Tinnitus sounds in my head and ears.
Now on the internet especially You tube there are horror stories about Pregabalin and how people have suffered with terrible side effects, and they make me quiver with fear. And yet my experience has been totally different.(A quick note I am not connected to Pregabalin drug companies).
Any way so far I have found Pregabalin to be almost subtle in its effect even at 300mg per day. And I have had no side effects. I feel quite nice when I take it. It has not done anything for my Tinnitus noises in my head. However it has taken the edge of the anxiety I have felt due to constant Tinnitus 24 hours day and many sleepless nights. So so far I feel ok with taking Pregabalin. Ill let you know how I am managing with Pregabalin in future video's.

Could hyperbaric Oxygen therapy get rid of your Tinnitus?
Patients breathe pure oxygen whilst in a pressurized chamber. The oxygen concentration in their blood increases, which can be beneficial in treating a number of ailments. These include tinnitus, slow-healing wounds, osteomyelitis, radiation therapy damage, compromised skin grafts and implants, burns, necrotitis of soft tissue and many other disorders.
This is a very short but interesting video covering Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy for Tinnitus sufferers who are really struggling, this may be able to help them. I live in the UK and I am not sure whether the NHS covers Tinnitus to be put forward for this kind of treatment however I am going to investigate further to see if this could help my dreadful Tinnitus sounds. If you live in other countries like the USA you may be able to get this on health insurance. You can definitely pay for this treatment if your physician agrees to it.
Getting rid of Tinnitus or ringing in in ears is a total must for most of us who are suffering from disabling Tinnitus or very bad Tinnitus. Trying to live with Tinnitus can be like being in prison in your own head.

For those of us that have had to suffer Tinnitus this is very good news. David overcame his Tinnitus condition by using Tinnitus retraining therapy.
Tinnitus retraining therapy helps you to work at changing the way you look and think about your Tinnitus. In time you train yourself not to hear the Tinnitus sounds,or ringing in ears.
Although this Tinnitus therapy is available in most countries you have to pay for it. In the UK where I am based, as far as I can see ,the NHS have now stopped funding this particular Tinnitus therapy. This is a such a shame because those who suffer with disabling Tinnitus or debilitating Tinnitus may be so unwell that they cannot function properly and therefore may not be able to work or have little money to be able to afford it.
But for me Tinnitus retraining therapy does seem like a good option and something I would like to try myself.( I will let you know how I get on with this later on).
There are other methods to try and combat Tinnitus. Dealing with stress is a major issue when it comes to Tinnitus conditions. And so doing Meditation,Tai chi,Yoga,having body massages and other body based therapies can also help with people that suffer with Tinnitus.
Some people may need to go onto prescription drugs if they are really suffering with debilitating Tinnitus. The doctors may offer antidepressants and or anti anxiety drugs to help reduce stress and thus helping to cope with the Tinnitus sounds in the head and ears.The goal is to de-stress so that the Tinnitus noises slowly decrease and the patient can then get back to a normal life without Tinnitus.
They may also offer prescription drugs for helping people to sleep. Many Tinnitus sufferers have problems with Insomnia and sleeping. There are also natural sleeping aids that can help if Insomnia becomes a problem.
Tinnitus affects over 50 million people in America alone. Tinnitus sufferers experience different types of Tinnitus sounds. Many people suffer with debilitating Tinnitus or Tinnitus where their lives are severely affected. And as yet there is no known cure for Tinnitus.
Although there is no Tinnitus cure there are things that you can do to minimize the effects of Tinnitus sounds. Tinnitus sound therapy can help to mask the tinnitus noises you hear. And there are Tinnitus masking machines. And you can also get Tinnitus masking hearing aids.

Other Tinnitus sufferers have used Herbal tinctures to try and lessen the Tinnitus sounds they hear or get rid of Tinnitus altogether. Herbal tinctures of Ginkgo biloba, Black Cohosh, are used to treat Tinnitus. And for Insomnia linked to Tinnitus Skullcap, Lemon balm, Pasiflora may help.
CBD oil has been tried by people suffering with Tinnitus and some people have had good results with this. Although if you are going to try CBD oil ,it is best to start with a low dose and work your way up to bigger doses.
Black seed oil the Mediterranean Cumin based oil. Has been used for thousands of years as a cure all and this has helped some people with Tinnitus problems.
Homeopathy and homeopathic medicine can help people suffering with Tinnitus.
I am also an advocate of Fresh organic Wheatgrass juice. This will give you a more over all boost and because Fresh organic Wheatgrass is so full of wonderful nutrients and vitamins, and live enzymes. This will definitely help you repair your body even if it does not cure your Tinnitus. The fact that you can grow fresh organic Wheatgrass at home easily is also a fantastic bonus.
Keeping busy and not thinking about your Tinnitus all the time can also help. Distractions from your Tinnitus are very important although if you are really suffering with Tinnitus this can seem like a crazy suggestion ,if the Tinnitus noise in your head is there all the time.
Tinnitus counselling and Tinnitus retraining can also be very useful in helping with Tinnitus. There are many ways to try and treat Tinnitus but what works for one person may not necessarily work for another and visa versa.
