Tinnitus spikes. How Tinnitus spikes affect me with my Tinnitus. Tinnitus spikes can happen all of a sudden sometimes not really knowing what has caused them. Tinnitus spikes are Tinnitus sounds that get really loud and intense. They can last for hours or even days. They can seriously affect your ability to sleep and function properly in the world. I suffer with Tinnitus spikes and mine can be extremely unpleasant and the worst thing for me is that they stop me from being able to sleep properly. My own experience with Tinnitus spikes happened after suffering with Tinnitus for about eighteen months. Then the spikes began and they were really loud and incredibly debilitating. Suffering with Tinnitus can ruin your life and you can feel isolated and lonely. Other people cannot really grasp what you are going through unless they have suffered with some sort of Tinnitus themselves. Getting rid of Tinnitus is my number one priority because it has made my life very difficult at times.
